Imagining Mozambique è il risultato dell’incontro di artisti di fama internazionale che hanno realizzato dei lavori ispirati ai bambini del Mozambico, con l’intento di accendere i riflettori sulla grave condizione che vivono quotidianamente. La collezione prevede una mostra fotografica in cui sono esposti i lavori di artisti che si occupano di graphic design, illustrazione, fotografia e pittura.

La mostra collettiva itinerante “Imaginig Mozambique”, che inaugura alla Maxalot Gallery il 27 Agosto e rimane fino al 10 Settembre, è l’occasione per promuovere la raccolta fondi per ASEM, una organizzazione no-profit che aiuta bambini ed orfani del Mozambico.

Dopo la Maxalot Gallery, saranno gli uffici di Wieden + Kennedy sull’ Herengracht ad ospitare l’esposizione fino alla fine di Novembre, per aaprodare poi alla TBD Gallery di Londra. Le stampe degli artisti sono numerate ed in vendita a prezzi contenuti. I soldi raccolti dalla vendita vanno direttamente ad ASEM - Association en faveur de l’Enfance Mozambiquaine.

Imagining Mozambique is a gathering of internationally renowned artists who have created thought-provoking art inspired by the Mozambican children and bring attention to their day-to-day plight for survival and change. The collection is comprised of a photographic exhibition inspired by the Mozambican children and artists from the disciplines of graphic design, illustration, photography and painting.

The travelling art show collective, "Imagining Mozambique", premiers at the Maxalot Gallery from 27 August - 10 September as a fundraising drive for ASEM, a non-profit organization that helps the children and orphans of Mozambique.

After the tenure at the Maxalot Gallery the show will reside in the offices of Wieden + Kennedy on the Herengracht until the end of November, where it will then move to London (gallery TBD). All artist prints are numbered and available for purchase at an affordable price. Money raised through sale of the artwork goes directly to ASEM - Association en faveur de l'Enfance Mozambiquaine.
